Equitas is one of the 20+ banks which has been licensed to provide FASTag services. Equitas FASTag service is UPI enabled. It means that you will be able to recharge your Equitas FASTag with any of the UPI enabled apps like Paytm, Google Pay, ICICI Pockets, etc..
Besides other standard benefits that come with the FASTag, Equitas FASTag has the distinct provision of linking your FASTags to your Current or Savings Account, without the need for the wallet. Becuase the FASTags are linked to the bank account, there is no question of FASTag running into a low balance situation. While other banks do provide this feature of linking the Current/Savings account, the difference between them and Equitas is that, the linked bank account is used to replenish the wallet. The toll fee that is deducted for FASTag is deducted from the wallet.
