NPCI stands for National Payments Corporation of India. NPCI is the regulatory body of the Govt. of India that was initiated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Indian Banks Association (IBA). It is responsible for all the retail payments and settlement systems in India. |

NHAI stands for National Highways Authority of India. NHAI was setup by an Act of the Indian Parliment, NHAI Act, 1988. NHAI is responsible for the development, management and maintenance of the National Highways in India. |

IHMCL stands for Indian Highways Management Corporation Ltd.. IHMCL was setup by NHAI to manage the electronic tolling and everything related to it, to help co-ordinate between its concessionaires and the financial institutions. |

NPCI Mapper Vehicle Classes is the classification of the vehicles into different categories by NPCI. The following is the list of NPCI Mapper Vehicle Classes:

Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR):
The gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR), or gross vehicle mass (GVM) is the maximum operating weight/mass of a vehicle as specified by the manufacturer including the vehicle's chassis, body, engine, engine fluids, fuel, accessories, driver, passengers and cargo.
